Meet the P.A.C.E. Team
Tito Alvarez
Youth Programs Coordinator
Hi there!
I'm Tito Alvarez, currently serving as the Youth Programs Manager at PACE, where I lead initiatives to empower and uplift our community's youth. As the founder of Chase Love and a former Global DEI Program Coordinator at Meta, I've always been driven by a passion for community engagement and inclusion. Having attended local schools like Garfield and Sequoia High School and Cañada College, I feel like i can share my perspective and understand the challenges our youth face and am dedicated to supporting them.

Fun fact: I once solo traveled for over 3 months across 3 countries (Colombia, Peru, and you'll have to guess the 3rd)!
Alan De La Rosa
Youth Mentor
Hi, mi name is Alan De La Rosa.
I am both an afterschool program and PACE mentor at PAL. I moved from Mexico to the USA when I was 3 years old and we made our way to Redwood City. I attended Hoover school (Pre-K through 8th) and then Sequoia High School. I believe that I relate to the youth because we share similar interest whether that be Music, Sports or fashion. On the other hand, I also faced similar struggles that the youth we serve goes through. I enjoy my role because I get to motivate and teach kids life lessons. I was that same little kid with big dreams and I just want to let today's youth know that there are people out there that want to help you learn, grow and tell you that you can do whatever you set your mind to.

Jazmin Martinez
Youth Mentor
Hi hi! I'm Jazmin and I was born and raised here in Redwood City. As a PACE mentor, I enjoy being able to work directly with the youth in my community because of the unique relationship it allows us to create. Growing up, I was lucky enough to have guidance from a lot of mentors who were always looking out for me in one way or another and it undeniably has had a positive influence in my journey. Because of how important mentorship was for me, I now aim to provide a safe space for youth to feel comfortable enough to confide in me, ask for help when needed, and help them find a genuine desire for their own personal growth. It’s genuinely an honor to work with our youth as they are the ones who ultimately choose to trust us and our guidance to help them navigate their trajectory.
