ACE (Action, Create, Engage)

This is a year-long pilot program that will focus on engaging transitional aged youth in culturally relevant, youth-centered, and strength-based activities.

Our goals for the program are the following:
- Ensure non-traditional youth development programs in the City of Redwood City and surrounding communities to support mentorship pathways to workforce development and self empowerment.
- Host weekday/ weekend events with community-based program partners for TAY to support positive youth development.
- Provide youth ages 12-24 and their families opportunities to serve on and co-lead Youth/CBO Advisory spaces to shape programming, services, and policies for TAY programs.
- Identify ways to address the acute need of minimal TAY programs and also expand evidence-based alternative public safety initiatives.

PAL is the leading organization and is embarking on this journey in collaboration with other youth serving nonprofits with strong youth development track records.
