
Community Care & Enrichment
This program is led by community Youth Mentors that guide and encourage students and nurture their social and emotional development. Students can engage in academic tutoring, creative arts, hands-on science experiments, Afro-Latin drumming, nutrition education, music production, digital literacy, fitness activities, interactive games, and positive mentorship. These activities can help build skills to improve educational achievement, health and safety, and social-emotional development, skills which in turn improve youth success in and out of the classroom.
In addition, a component offering youth access to mental health services. Partnering with One Life / Une Vida Counseling Services providing Individualized Therapy sessions and Student Support Counseling Groups.
Family Engagement Events are offered to all members in an effort to build community, including a Summer BBQ, Halloween Haunted House, Holiday Party, and more!
